Agape, all natural, nothing added 🙏🏼

How can we love, no I mean TRULY LOVE if we don’t first love thy self. Yes lol I said “thy self”. The best man kind to study, model, and mold this act by is, has been, and will always be Jesus. Agape love- by one definition; it’s “the highest form of love”. Giving to others, sacrificing our time, energy, resources for someone else WITHOUT expecting anything in return. That’s the key “without expectations” , too many of us “expect” something in return. “I did this for you, so what are you going to do for me?!” WRONG MINDSET.

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear, if we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love. 1 John 4:18

Summary, what does love look like to and for you? Is it the love of money, and job, a person, an object like a car, house, clothes, etc.? I challenge you this, open your digital Bible and search the word “Love” and read about 10-15 of the verses that contain the word love. Then reevaluate your thoughts on love. i pray you are challenged by God to transform, or have a renewing of your mindset on the word love, it’s impact, and significance to everything that you didn’t think it was. For God is love
